  • 4 tbsp. spoons of sugar.

Let's start preparing classic and delicious cocoa with milk

Prepare a container or pan in which you will cook cocoa.

Pour water into it, you don’t need much, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan.

Boil water, pour milk into it.

Let's start with cocoa, mix it with sugar and add a little water to it. Try to make sure that there are no lumps left, it is important to make the mass homogeneous and thick. You will have a chocolate mixture.

When everything is mixed, let's start preparing the mixture, which is called cocoa with milk.

For final cooking, bring everything to a boil. When it boils, reduce the heat and cook for another three minutes.

Cocoa without milk

We have all been familiar with the taste of cocoa since childhood.:-) It is usually prepared with milk. The recipe couldn’t be simpler: heat the milk, add cocoa powder, and if needed, sugar (although it’s more often put in a cup). Bring to a boil, remove - the cocoa is ready.

But foam is also familiar from childhood.:-) And the impression from her is far from the most pleasant.

In addition, I know that not all adults tolerate milk well: for example, I don’t want it in any form (at most in the form of ice cream, and even then very rarely).:-) In addition, village milk is fatty and difficult to drink. However, not liking milk is not a reason to give up your favorite cocoa.

Cocoa is prepared in exactly the same way using water!:-) Pros: no foam, no milk. Almost an Aztec version. It's best to add a little vanilla. The drink turns out great. In terms of smell, it is absolutely no different from the “milk” version.

We drink this cocoa pure, without sugar or honey. You can add something sweet to suit your taste, but there is no particular need: cocoa is not that bitter, the taste is soft and pleasant.

Of course, you need to cook with something other than the powder that has been sold in stores since Soviet times. THIS IS THE WRONG PRODUCT!

I don’t know how it is made, but it has very little in common with real cocoa. We found this cocoa powder (you can find it for sale on the Internet) - 100% cocoa Plein Arome, Belgium. This cocoa itself is already fatty (both to the touch and in the drink) - its fat content is indicated on the pack and is 22-24%. Perhaps that’s why it cooks well without milk – its fat content is quite enough.

I asked the store what kind of cocoa it was, and they answered: “Belgian cocoa powder undergoes slight processing (alkalization) - this is a processing process for cocoa powder that reduces the amount of acid and tannins, which improves the taste, color and aroma. But this does not reduce its beneficial properties; both varieties of cocoa are very tasty and natural.”

Both varieties - meaning red and black. This is from a new order. The pack I have in the photo is, if I’m not mistaken, brown.

The issue of where to look for good cocoa mass has also finally been resolved. Usually in the same place where this cocoa powder is sold. Regarding him: “Cocoa liquor from Luker is even better than Belgian, since Luker is a Colombian supplier of raw materials (cocoa beans) of high quality, that is, it is cocoa liquor from his homeland, without additional processing cycles.” So they sell both Belgian and other cocoa liquor (usually in bars) - excellent quality and ideal for homemade chocolate and cocoa.

I even found crushed cocoa beans on sale, in small buckets, you can probably add them to homemade sweets, etc., we haven’t tried it yet.

Powder selection

Since not everyone can make cocoa powder at home, you need to know the subtleties of choosing this product. The assortment is quite large. However, to prepare drinks, you should use only fresh powder and without various additives in the form of sugar or milk powder. When purchasing a product in a store, it is recommended to pay special attention to the label. It will indicate not only the production date, but also whether it contains sugar. It is worth noting that a product that has expired loses its taste, beneficial qualities and aroma.

You should choose powder only from trusted manufacturers. A product of dubious quality will not only not be beneficial, but can also cause harm. Especially if the manufacturer has added chemicals to the cocoa powder.

Homemade chocolate recipe without milk

Homemade milk-free chocolate has a pleasant dark color and a very rich taste. Unlike other sweets, dark chocolate is not harmful to your figure, and in some cases, it even helps you lose extra pounds. You can regulate the amount of sugar and butter yourself, increasing or decreasing its calorie content.

  • Cocoa liquor (cocoa powder) – 60 g
  • Cocoa butter (butter) - 60 g
  • Powdered sugar - 80 g
  • Vanilla sugar, cardamom - optional

The recipe for dairy-free chocolate is very simple: you will need to mix all the ingredients.

Heat in a water bath until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture into any mold, then cool for several hours in the refrigerator.

Original chocolate is obtained in small silicone molds - you can make real assorted sweets.

If desired, you can add a filling of raisins, prunes, nuts or dried apricots.

How to make chocolate without milk with honey

This recipe for homemade milk-free chocolate with honey will appeal to all lovers of natural products. The dessert is perfect both as an independent treat and for decorating homemade confectionery products - cakes and pastries.

  • Cocoa butter (butter) – 50 g
  • Cocoa powder – 100 g
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg – 1/2 tsp
  • Honey - 3 tbsp. l

The cocoa butter will need to be melted in a water bath. To do this, you will need to put the required amount of oil in a small bowl and place it on top of a larger container (saucepan, bowl, ladle) filled with boiling water. You can melt the butter in the microwave - 1-2 minutes will be enough.

Add cocoa powder, nutmeg and cinnamon to the melted butter.

To give the chocolate additional flavor, you can add vanilla sugar.

Stir the mixture well and hold for a few more minutes until the mixture boils.
