A fresh carnation will sink or float vertically, with the bud facing up. If the bud lies horizontally on the surface in the water, then the spice has lost most of its aromatic and taste properties.

Cardamom can only be used by healthy people and in small quantities, no more than 1/5 - ¼ teaspoon of ground seeds at a time.

Classic recipe

For one cup you will need:

  • 1.5 teaspoons of freshly ground coffee beans;
  • 1-2 spice buds;
  • the water is cold;
  • 0.5 teaspoons of sugar.
  1. Put sugar in the cuz and heat it a little over the fire, without letting the sugar burn. It should start to melt slightly, this will only take 5-10 seconds.
  2. Remove the Turk from the heat, pour ground grains into it and pour in water. Place the Turk on the fire and bring until foam appears on the surface of the Turk. Repeat this one or two more times. The taste of coffee is greatly influenced by the quality of water, so use good quality water to get a tasty drink.
  3. After removing the Turk from the heat, add the clove buds and let the drink brew for one minute.
  4. Pour a spoonful of cold water into the Turk so that all the suspension in it settles to the bottom of the vessel.
  5. Warm up the cups and pour the finished drink into them.

Coffee prepared according to this recipe is very tasty to drink with dried fruits, candied fruits, marshmallows or marshmallows.

How to make coffee with cardamom

Let's start cooking.

Flavored coffee

We invite you to prepare wonderful aromatic coffee with cinnamon and cloves. To get an original drink, it will need to be boiled in a Turk with the addition of spices.

  • one tablespoon of freshly ground natural coffee;
  • 200 milliliters of water;
  • two cinnamon sticks;
  • two spices cloves;
  • sugar.

Pour fresh ground grains into the Turk and add cinnamon. Also add clove spice and sugar to the ingredients according to your taste. Pour in water and mix the mixture thoroughly. Place the cezve on the stove and turn on the heat; when the mixture begins to boil, remove the cezve from the stove, then do the same 3 more times. The contents of the Turka can be poured into a cup and drunk.

With cloves and cinnamon

Another recipe for coffee with cloves will appeal to lovers of cinnamon, which will add a slightly sweet aroma to the drink and soften the bitter taste of coffee. To prepare an invigorating coffee drink with cloves and cinnamon you will need:

  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of ground coffee beans;
  • 2 spice buds;
  • sugar to taste;
  • 200 ml of clean water;

The clove tree is a tropical, evergreen plant that lives in coastal areas near the sea. The tree consists of two or three trunks, can reach from 4 to 15 meters in height, has a dense conical crown, large, paired, oval leaves of dark green color with a characteristic aroma.

Carnation blooms 2 times a year: from July to October and from November to January. The miniature, fragrant, red flowers of carnations attract flowers, which pollinate the tree. Flower buds should be collected before they turn into flowers. They are collected by hand and dried in the sun, after which the cloves can be used either whole or ground.

In the wild, under favorable conditions, a clove tree can live up to 300-400 years, but peak productivity occurs between 6-60 years of life: at this time, up to 4 kg of spice can be collected from a tree per season.

Oriental coffee with spices

Any type of coffee, even a not very successful one, can be prepared deliciously if you add a bouquet of spicy spices to it. You will need:

  • coffee - 11 g;
  • cardamom - 8 grains;
  • cinnamon - 1 stick;
  • cloves - 2 buds;
  • ground ginger - 1/4 tsp;
  • water - 150 ml.

Pre-grind all spices in a mortar, with the exception of cinnamon - do not grind it this way, add. In addition to the fact that the spices will be divided into smaller particles, they will begin to exchange aromas in the mortar, creating a simply breathtaking smell! Crushed spices are added to the coffee, along with a cinnamon stick, and the whole thing is filled with water. This drink is brewed only over fire. The drink is brought to a boil, but not boiled - removed from the heat. As soon as the bubbles go away, bring to a boil again. They do the same for the third time - only now, after air bubbles appear, the fire is turned off, and the Turk is left for a few minutes on the burner to brew. After this, the aromatic drink is poured into cups - if you act carefully, the spices will remain at the bottom. Add sugar, milk, and for piquancy you can sprinkle a pinch of red pepper on top - now an extravaganza of taste is guaranteed.
